Should Health Insurance free for Students
When students move towards higher education colleges, there are a number of challenges they have to face. Many unexpected illnesses or health issues arise during this phase. Those students who move abroad for higher education, insurance must be planned for them. Health insurance helps keep students healthy and motivated. Health insurance keeps a child’s safety at school, college, or universities. Being out of the comfort zone is a continuous risk; to overcome this risk, health insurance for students is the best option.
Thesis: Yes, for student’s health insurance must be free because anytime students can face causalities or problems, insurance will protect them anywhere they are. Many studies have shown that sickness or illness like sleep, flu, cold, eye allergies, and skin allergies are such types of diseases that can occur anytime, anywhere. So, if children have health insurance, they can get first aid or treated on time.
In the United States, there is a high range of uninsured students ages 18-34. Students who go out without insurance tend to face more illness problems due to a lack of care and compassion. Health insurance is beneficial in many terms, like family debt, reducing healthcare expenses, and maintaining health.
Health insurance is an assurance or firmness that acts as a safeguard against any insecurity. Whether you have to pay something against purchasing this type of security, but this is a lifelong guard. Students must have health insurance in school or colleges because their health faces more discourse and harsh environments. Along with other benefits of student health insurance is that it will reduce the purchasing costs of health. Every institution must have plans and strategies that grant students free health strategies. Insurance plans provide aid to students that are physically or mentally disabled.
If you take admission in schools or colleges, you must check insurance policies, whether until the policy will protect you, and sign an insurance policy. Students doing undergraduate programs must take serious the student insurance because researches have shown that at this stage student faces vulnerable accidents. An insurance plan is mandatory for students attending physical classes must sign insurance policy at the time of admission. The rate of individuals noted uninsured is about 22.5%, and adults are those among the age group who sign less of insurance forms. There are disadvantages in which uninsured adults have to pass from;
- Researches have shown that the adults aged between 15-29 represent 11% of accident injuries, and due to un-insurance huge costs go waste.
- Adults aged between 10-25 also acquire mental illness according to the mental health illness.
- According to the World Health Organization, people aged between 16-25 face chronic illness.
These illnesses and injuries would cause half of the medical costs if the individuals were insured. Along with health care access, students also get access to less credential health and show output. Health insurance help provide internet and external health assurance for students until the age limit they have registered. Numerous universities offer Student Health Insurance Plans the school pays assertively as opposed to employing an outside insurer– that could conceivably give essential advantages, as dictated by the Affordable Care Act. Know that schools offering self-safeguarded well-being plans are not required to meet the base rules of the ACA until January 1, 2015, albeit many have done so. On the off chance that the schools make a contract with an outside back up plan to give inclusion to understudies, they are required to meet every base capability of the ACA before that date.
Graduates from different colleges and universities and colleges can grab the best for themselves. Health insurance is an amazing opportunity provided by colleges or educational institutions for the maintenance of health benefits. It is not mandatory, but those who care for their life and understand their value, those who want to secure their access, ultimately go with insurance policy. (MB & CC, 2019)
Many colleges and universities rigged into corruption and did not allow poor students to enjoy health insurance program and allow rich ones because they can pay advance. There must be policies for those who are unable to pay the progress, but willing to get health insurance. Colleges, and the administration everywhere so far as that is concerned, should command medical coverage for all. Medical coverage secures understudies, a high hazard gathering, and tremendous out-of-pocket costs because of disease or damage. Since understudies may not generally have the capacity to bear the cost of medical coverage, the colleges should incorporate the expense of protection in educational value, so it is secured by money-related guides such as concedes and advances. In America, numerous acts raise awareness about free health insurance for students and workers, but these Acts are neglected in a few parts of the country. For example, the Affordable Care Act provides unlimited health benefits for students. But the problem occurs when people fail to use these benefits for the real cause. Some colleges put conditions for students if they want to achieve healthcare insurance or not. Either it is free for all. This healthcare Act put numerous choices for students, for example, if they’re going to stay with their parent’s healthcare plan until they reach 26 years of age. Or, if not, they can enroll with health insurance offered by state through their jobs and colleges. The state insurance for healthcare is mandatory for every individual; then, colleges should also be instructed to free healthcare insurance for students and help them to achieve quality healthcare during their discourse to the college. If a college didn’t offer healthcare security or insurance programs, students could ask them for this right and provide healthcare insurance at every level. Several rumors go against the insurance program into the country. Still, the reality is that these programs are working fine at the state level but corrupted at an individual level. Colleges and hospitals, for the sake to gain, make it challenging to access healthcare. But there are few excellent colleges too that offer free healthcare insurance for students (Michael Merrigan, 2019).
To sum up, the argument made for the free availability of healthcare insurance for college students is essential to make colleges and universities understand that it is a necessity and needs to be fulfilled. Researches described in the essay shows that it is a social and moral dilemma because colleges, despite having facilities from the back, prevent their students from having free health insurance. The discrimination that is happening based on social status needs to be addressed for equal healthcare availability. This discrimination affects students’ mental and physical health because such students lack healthcare students from their parents’ side too. Thus, policies need to be introduced that address the need for free healthcare insurance for college and university students. This is important because college students already face the burden of their studies, and to manage the cost of healthcare would be difficult for them and their families. Thus, all colleges and universities should be restricted from providing free healthcare insurance to students without discrimination and bias.

- What have you learned about how to present a strong argument? How could/will you apply this knowledge in your professional or everyday life?
I learned that an argument should be presented with facts and evidence that make readers believe in its validity and reality. In my real life, I will do the same that put an argument in discussion only when I will have facts and evidence to prove that this is a necessity. The purpose of a strong case is to make the thing happen, and there is a complete history at the back of that argument. I learned that a shred of reliable evidence could address the problem efficiently.
- Consider the English course as a whole. What have you learned about yourself as a writer?
Reviewing the English course as a whole, I learned that we could make things happen if we mean to them. At the start of the course, I failed as a writer, but gradually I did for what I committed. In this course, I learned numerous writing styles and concepts that improved me as a writer and helped me to achieve course goals. Though it was a tough journey, it was not impossible too. I learned to write what we have in our minds, and I also learned to write feelings appropriately.
