- Make sure you discuss the mission and vision. Consider the short-term goals related to the mission, or vision statements that could galvanize the commitment of all employees and especially the senior leadership team?
- How would you facilitate buy-in from all team members?
- What would you do to build and maintain trust among all employees to ensure you fulfill your mission and achieve your vision?
- What must change as far as communication, collaboration, and cohesion, and why, if you are to not only survive but to thrive in your market segment?
- As Barker, what decisions will you make, how will you execute them?
- Remember to bring in all of the following: the KPI, TKI, the DiSC, EI, Vroom-Yetton Decision Model, and/or Tuckman’s stages of team development as a lens to discuss where the team was stuck (analysis) and how they might successfully pass through the storming phase (recommendations). These are some very important leadership tools we have discussed in the course thus far, and will discuss in the next 2 weeks as well. All leadership skills and competencies are related to and expected in this assignment.
- How can the 4 Es and 1 P make a difference?
- Where are Jack’s 8 essential rules of leadership? I will be looking for a bit more in-depth on decision making and when leaders should make gut calls, and leaders to press them into the organization–that would help this paper.
- Ensure any references listed at the end of your paper truly support your statements made in the paper. Fewer direct quotes, more of your analysis and synthesis of the issue is requested.
- Use Grammarly and/or the writing coach to catch any errors prior to submitting Assignment 2 Part 2.
