Archie Rose
Archie Rose Distilling Company is a company that distills and sells vodka, gin, and whiskey. Though the company has not existed in the market for long, it is rated among the best companies in the country. Since the Covid-19 pandemic was announced in Australia, Archie Rose focuses on manufacturing hand sanitizers. The study question will be how often Residents of Sydney city use Archie Rose hand sanitizer.
This research will apply mixed methods to help answer the research question. The study will mainly use questionnaires with issues related to the study question. The items that are to be incorporated in the survey are why do you prefer Archie Rose’s hand sanitizer? Why do you use Archie Rose’s hand sanitizer? How can we improve the qualities to make it fit for your consumption? When did you start using Archie Rose hand sanitizer, and lastly, personal recommendations on how Archie Rose would enhance its customer service? Interviews will also be conducted to hand sanitizer retail and distributor managers. The projected questions for interviews include how often do customers ask for Archie hand sanitizers. The frequent feedback from the customers and their recommendations. Since interviews may vary depending on the respondent’s engagement level, interviewers will be trained on how to act to make interviewees share a lot of information. Additionally, appointments will be made to ensure that there is sufficient time to conduct the interviews.
The target population for this study is Archie Rose hand sanitizer customers. Anyone who will be found purchasing Archie Rose hand sanitizer qualifies to participate in the study. This is because they are the end consumers of the products, and they have reasons why they prefer a specific Archie Rose brand. The customers who will be found buying brands from other companies will be excluded from the study. Additionally, hand sanitizer distributors and retailers managers will be a target population as they have direct information regarding the brands with the highest sales. The study will be conducted in Sydney, a city that is adjacent to the Archie Rose headquarters. The primary sampling method to be employed in this study is simple random sampling. This is because this method gives equal opportunities to the targeted population. The study targets 1000 end product customers and 20 interviews. The reason for the low number of interviews is time schedules.
During the study, data will be collected in two ways. The first method is the use of questionnaires. The questionnaires will have both open-ended and closed-ended questions. The closed-ended questions will be, why do you prefer Archie Rose hand sanitizer? When did you start using Archie Rose’s hand sanitizer, and why? All items with recommendations will be open-ended, and the respondents will share personal opinions. The reason for using questionnaires is because it is easy to feel and also takes a short time. Interviews will be conducted with questions established in the second paragraph.
The study will use two data analysis methods. The first data analysis method will be a descriptive data analysis. Since the questionnaires have closed questions, it will be possible to obtain numerical figures from the collected data. Only inquiries with correctly filled information will be considered for analysis. The mean on the closed-ended questions will make it easy to have numerical values, which will significantly help to answer the study question. The other data analysis method to be used is content analysis. Personal opinions will be analyzed through content analysis. The responses from the analyzed data will be compared to make conclusions on how the company can provide improved services to end-user customers.
Various ethical issues may arise during the study. First, some respondents might decide to present the wrong information during data collection. During the analysis, the responses will be analyzed for validity. For instance, if a person states that Archie Rose’s hand sanitizer does not satisfy governmental requirements, it will be considered invalid. The second ethical issue that may arise is unfairness. This is because not all qualifying respondents will be allowed to participate in the study, and participants will be picked randomly. However, this can be mitigated by explaining to the targeted population on the selection methods for participation.
