Personal health assessment
Personal health assessment is the best tool for receiving honest answers as one would not lie to self. After completing the assessment, I have realized that some of the areas need serious improvement since I may be at risk of crossing to the danger zone. Although most of my scores were above 10, most of the scores lied at averagely below 15 and having the benefit of the doubt in place, the scores could have dropped below 10. Therefore, I am convinced that most areas in my life need adjustment and improvement.
The top three areas that a change will do well are environmental, spiritual, and intellectual health. The environmental, spiritual, and intellectual aspects are important to me because I am determined to live a reasonable life. I am also convinced that I am ready to change and that I should make the decision immediately. The support from my family and friends appears guaranteed because they have always stood by my side when I have needed help, and they will certainly help me achieve my goals. For example, my family will always buy the idea that I should minimize the time I run my faucet while brushing my teeth or taking a shave.
The journey to transformation is, however, certain to face challenges. For example, improving my spiritual life may mean that I spend more time in the places of worship and that I reduce the time I spend with family and friends. Also, improving my intellectual ability may imply that I find a hobby, which may, however, be inconvenient considering my busy schedule. However, I am determined that my journey to transformation will be successful because I will have support from family and friends.
In sum, the journey to transformation is an individual’s choice, and I have made a choice. The support from my family and friends will play a crucial role in my adjustment. I have been interested in assessing my traits, and this week’s lecture has helped me.
