Sen. Kamala Harris Leadership Style
Kamala Harris recently went down to books of history as the first Black Asian American woman to be nominated as a running mate in the majority party of U.S politics. It was not by chance or other means that Joe Biden selected her. She has very peculiar characteristics over the other women and the male gender that Joe Biden decided to settle on her as his Running mate in the U.S presidential elections. I discuss some of the leadership styles that make her an excellent woman leader.
The democrats vice president nominee Kamala is a good leader in the art of communication. Her prowess in communication was shown during the questioning of Jeff Sessions’ testimony to the congress. She competently articulated answers to the questions that she was asked by setting the right tone, having a firm ground and looking composed. Although Kamala spoke with some degree of firmness and assertiveness throughout the question session, she did not sound vicious of foul through her voice. These are the very desirable traits that a good leader ought to have to avoid offending people through their speech or questioning session.
Finally, Kamala Harris is a woman who can make a big difference in leadership due to her rich experience in the civil service and her procession of sound policies. Based on her history as an attorney general in California at the same time as a senator, she brings in her tactics of having broader perspectives about issues affecting the citizens. She is a leader who can engage different people to get to the bottom of an issue. As a result, she can decide that more inclusive.
