Ironically, digital forensics related to the effective and efficient examination of information stored on the network. It is basically an emerging investigating field which would probably pose great challenges in the next five years. When we name digital forensics, it has the most important factor is data forensics through which confidential information at the organizational level is secured by identifying the security threat timely; these are also used to reach to the solution that who is behind any cybercrime through digital forensics tactics. There are the number of challenges that may face in the future regarding digital forensics (Alwis, 2017). Huge data volume, heterogeneous communication along with communication technologies, borderless cyberinfrastructure will create new security challenges for experts, and it would also take law enforcement agencies investigating cybercrimes. The future of digital forensics is basically explored thoroughly trough these challenges and many others, by having an emphasis on these challenges along with advancements needed in order to protect modern and advanced societies and chase cybercriminals. As far as As far as my field is concerned, ‘data forensics’ in which use modern and advanced technology in order to assess and analyze the risk associated to fraudulent activities lie in different application systems along with underlying databases possess by the organization (Cooper, 2019).
Digital forensics is basically a modern field of investigation in which we use different methods to gather appropriate data and information regarding the suspects involved in the cyberattack or any other network fraud (Sheakh, 2018). Within the cyber law and limitation, standards we use our best ability in the future to identify the backhand between that illegal thought that would have an adverse effect on the organizational IT system. Apart, there are the number of effective and efficient strategies are needed which should be sufficient to face and mitigate these challenges in the future, which may arise as digital forensics risk in an effective and efficient way.
