SIMILARITIES AND DIFFRENCES OF PSYCHOANALYTIC AND HUMANISTS
Psychoanalysis technique involves the study of the unconscious mind of human being as a method of treatment for mental disorder. It involves the study of human behavior from childhood as a way of developing the best way of mental treatment to help individuals with mental illness to recover. The unconscious mind can be found in dreams and also slip of the tongue of an individual to find a way of developing healing to mental illness.
On the other hand is Humanism is ethical life nature that affirms and involves the human responsibility to give a meaning to their lives. It explains moral values that can be used to explain human nature over time. This philosophy is adopted to replace science because it cannot explain the human nature. It involves the study of human characters and values that someone adopts over time.
The study affirms that human beings should take responsibility of to shape their lives depending on how they behave or their attitude towards life. It does not depend on the supernatural powers to influence how humans should live and shape their lives. The two theories are distinct from each other but they both involve the study of humanity and human behaviors.
