Introduction
The criminal life and careers have continued to create significant importance in understanding critically the different conditions and issues that relate to various crime issues. By getting a more in-depth look into the different significant aspects that relate to social structure and which continue to influence and foster changes in different types of crimes that get continuously reported. Within the article, which provides excellent information in understanding how well these issues interact, there is a higher perspective that is brought onboard into understanding the significant influence keenly in conducting organized crime and the different items that force of push people to indulge in criminal offenses.
However, the main objective of the article is to get an understanding of the different careers in crime. From the starter part in engaging in criminal offenses to the significant impact that ring leaders o executives play in establishing a more substantial influence on specific criminal situations. The power of social opportunity structure is similarly of considerable importance in the article as it aims at providing critical evidence as to the reasons people get involved in crime. A different object would entail how people get involved in crime and how well these plays along with starters.
The research conducted in the article employed both qualitative and quantitative data collection method as most of the evidence and information created gets collected from different secondary sources. These form a crucial part in getting a better understanding of the various underlying issues and contributing critical factors as to both starter and ring leaders’ criminal career involvement (Kleemans & de Poot, 2008). The combination of both methods helped a more significant deal in analyzing the empirical data available within these secondary sources and its vital significance in understanding deeper the different ideas and concepts related to criminal careers.
From the article and the research conducted, it’s important to note that there are significantly critical key considerations and conclusions the researcher brought to light as in line with the different ideas and issues related to criminal careers of both starters and ring leaders. The most striking finding is that social opportunity structure creates significant ties offering access to different crime opportunities. Additionally, age and time are critical factors to consider in establishing a significantly ideal approach as to the reasons people engage in crime and how starters are involved considerably in criminal situations. The finding drew substantially from the different files of closed Dutch police investigations of criminal groups and which creates a more significant source of reliable empirical information into the research.
However, in criticizing the research, there is a significantly reliable source of information, which is key to the findings and the different analyses of the study. By understanding the various empirical details available within the files from the police department, the information and conclusion reached are reliable. They would become significantly tied to the available information. Additionally, the use of current user information formed one of the most significant influences within the research as it incorporates continuity and room for expansion in future research. Similarly, I would agree with the researcher’s conclusion as it ties significantly a more significant source of information that creates a critical understanding of the main focus and objectives of the research. Contrarily, there are different limitations of the study in that it applies mainly to a specific group focus, which creates significant essential group understanding and analysis. The analysis tends to ignore significant types of adult offenders. Similarly, various kinds of crime organized crime and that within the professions, which, in the long run, has continued to create a more significant impact on understanding criminal careers.
