Trees are the physical features on land often planted or rather exist naturally and hence often plays a significant role in the balance of the ecosystem. In our day to day livelihood, our survival depends entirely on the tree. Below are some importance of trees

Clearing of the air is one of the significant roles played by trees (Maruyama et al., 2016). Our daily operations often involve the emotion of toxic gases either from industries, cars, and other human pollution activities. Trees absorb the toxic Carbon IV Oxide and emit Oxygen to the environment; a role played via their leaves. The Oxygen emitted by trees is often taken in by man via the respiration process, hence trees clean the air.

Trees reduce the evaporation on land, hence reducing water loss (Fall et al, 2016). Trees usually provide protection to the soil, for during the summer season, the leaves from trees often block the direct penetration of sunlight through into the soil hence controlling the control of water loss from the soil. Moreover during this process a cycle ,plants also emits water via their leaves a process known as transpiration, and the water emitted is therefore used in increasing atmospheric moisture.

In addition trees also give an economic provision to man (Maruyama et al, 2016 ). Fruits bared from the trees at the orchards are can be sold to help generate an income. Business opportunities are also created to through the green waste management and the landscaping when cities get to value mulching and water retention techniques. Trees provide wood that is harvested and used as fuel and also as wood crafting.

Finally, trees act as a zoo to most wild animals. Trees such as oak and sycamore are among other species that provide a perfect habitat for most birds, bees, squirrels and even possums. it is therefore evident that trees are therefore an important existence in the ecosystem.
