- How difficult or easy was this search? Why? This search was difficult due to the lack of information online on childcare centers. The childcare centers did not regularly update their websites on subjects such as contacts and tuition prices.
- How did you feel while conducting this search? Why? While searching, I was feeling discouraged due to the lack of specific information as provided on the websites.
- How can finding childcare create stress on a family? Finding childcare can create stress on a family due to the many different offerings available. It is increasingly impossible to choose the best and leave out the others.
- What were some of the obstacles you encountered when looking for care? The obstacles encountered when looking for care included the lack of comprehensive information on the different childcare centers and the benefits that they offer to the children.
- How can the quality of childcare impact a child and their family? The quality of childcare significantly reduces the stress burden on both the child and their family. The centers provide the children with opportunities to mingle with others of their age, while the family can effectively focus on providing different needs.
- How can childcare impact family dynamics? What are the possible consequences to the child? Childcare can impact family dynamics through the specific strain that the parents undergo as they try to cope with the monetary needs. For example, none of the identified childcare centers offer their services within the budgetary allocations presented. The child will suffer through a lack of wholesome care from their family since they will be focusing on making the payments to the childcare centers.
