Details of the Project

Education is among the necessity for any other project, innovation, or entrepreneurship activities. Therefore, there is a demand for reliable and quality learning resources. However, there have been various hindrances towards successful learning which is distance barrier, flexibility challenges, and the access to the learning resources. The mentioned challenges ought to be addressed as the education system is much pressured to overcome them. The urge to overcome them is the key driver to my business idea of online learning. Online learning has become a common term in the current days; however, most of the available online learning resources have lacked realism and effectiveness in terms of equipping learners with competitive skills. This project ought to overcome the challenges through in-depth research on the effective measures and the approaches that will make the business idea to stand out among the other prevailing learning sources. The project will include the development of a website where the tutors and the students can create personal accounts. The accounts will play a significant role in ensuring the security of students’ personal details through a multilevel security system and also for the tutors to offer customized reference materials as per the capability of the student. The website will have the administration platform, students’ platform, and the tutors’ platform. The management team and the quality assurance department will be granted access to both platforms through the administrators’ handle. The access will help in having the first-hand information to be able to learn how to improve on various areas. Equally, the website will have a feedback function that will assist both the students and the tutors in sharing their concerns as per the created account.

The main trigger and the advantage of online learning are that it is not affected by natural calamities or climatic conditions. Online learning increases independence and flexibility since it just requires one to have enrolled in the virtual class and meets the set requirements. The primary requirements are an internet connection, which enables one to gain access to the resources and be able to connect with the tutors. The effectiveness online will be the responsibility taken by the tutor. Thus, in order to succeed in the business idea, the focus will be much made on the management and the tutors’ panel. The primary aim of the study is for one to learn something new and acquire skills in handling various problems. However, that has become very hard when it comes to courses that are affected by various changes, for instance, the entrepreneurial-linked courses. In order to overcome the challenge, the project will focus on the establishment of simulations that will help in facing real challenges alongside the provision of up-to-date information. Equally, the platform will ensure that the students can interact with each other in a moderated manner. The interaction between the students fosters the peer assessment, which helps in triggering self-motivation. The feeling of isolation can make the online students be reluctant and fail to meet the set conditions such as assignment completion. However, by including a feature that will help the students to mingle, though virtually, the students will have a sense of belonging and gain the need to be competent. Equally, the enabled interaction will help the tutors to evaluate the capabilities, weaknesses, and the most effective approaches when addressing the students. In return, the tutors will be able to offer customized materials to the students, a strategy that will help in improving the comprehension at the personal level.

The potential clients of online learning are the scholars who are interested in the expansion or the essential learning of entrepreneurial skills. Thus, the project will involve the experts in the field of entrepreneurship and other-business analysts and experts. The most probable way of accessing the potential is through the utilization of social media platforms and the advertisement (Sun and Chen, 2016). Firstly, the advertisement includes the issuance of banners and brochures that describes the courses offered, requirements, qualifications, and the cost attached to each. The printed adverts will be majorly distributed to the business-teaching institutions and the business people. Since the business world is prone to various changes, the adverts will include the idea of the newly introduced skills and the part they play in the success of the business. According to Burns (2017), an effective marketing approach should convince potential clients why they should opt to buy the products or services (176). Thus, using real information in the up-to-date teaching resources will serve as an endorsement in the advert for the project.

Secondly, through the use of social media platforms, it can be easy to find potential clients or receive their opinions and feedbacks. The utilization of the social media platform will entail the opening of accounts that are named after the organization’s brand name. Equally, the platforms will utilize the various business tools offered by various social media platforms (Burns, 2017 p. 213). For instance, Facebook has the Ads, business pages, and the applications that manage the ads and the pages. Equally, Instagram has tools like business profiles, call-to-action-buttons, and Instagram insights.

Financial Plan 

Through the guidance of the three objectives, the project will focus on individual goals when it comes to funds allocations. In order to create a flexible learning program, the project will focus on financing the establishment of the databases and the learning slots that will retain efficiency alongside flexibility (Sun and Chen, 2016). Secondly, to achieve the goal of enhancing the self and peer assessment objective, the project will focus on validating functions that will connect the students via chats, video, and audio calls (Butler, 2014 p. 2). Lastly, to achieve the goal of availing personalized content to the learners, the website will have functions that will allow capturing of details that from the students and tutors chats and the feedback from the marketing tools. The funding of the project will be from the partakers, the well-wishers, and the grant donors. As Burns (2017) states, a blunder in financial planning can affect the entire business idea (395). The totality of the funds will be dependent on the rating of the features to be installed. During the onset of the project’s actualization, the relevant insurance services will be sought to secure the project from most of the financial threats.

Operational Plan

Since the project will have three primary stakeholders – the scholar, tutors, and the management – it will be easy to assign each of the stakeholders the roles. The students will be the primary determinant of how things will run in terms of time and resources distribution. After the assessment by the management team, via the administrator, and confirmation that the students qualify to undertake the chosen entrepreneurial course, all students will be prompted to create an account (Butler, 2014 p. 2). The account will be useful in ensuring that the management can monitor the progress of each student, and the tutors can be able to deliver personalized content. Equally, the tutor will be required to have accounts that will help in a strategized presentation of the reports and the comments they may have on various students and the processes. Effective operational planning will assist in the establishment of priorities and knowing things that should be set right for the company to succeed (Burns, 2017). Eventually, the management team will be having data stored in a hierarchical format, and that will be easy to retrieve and assess.

Organizational Plan

The project will be initiated with three major slots. The slots are the learners’ platform, the tutors’ panel, and the administrators handle. The students will be able to access the resources, both the general information and the customized ones. The attainment of the set objectives relies on the management team and the administrators (Sun and Chen, 2016). The management will make a schedule where the tutors can prepare notes in advance, as per the slots allocated, and the students are attached to the slot they feel comfortable in (Bessant and Tidd, 2011 p. 12). The slots must meet the minimum members to ensure that the resources are well utilized. In order to enhance creativity, the slots will be flexible for changes depending on the availability of the students and the efficiency of learning at that moment (Bilton and Cummings, 2010, p. 13). The management will be assessing the conversation between the students, the feedback from the marketing tools, comments of the tutors, and the overall observation. The assessment will help in knowing the skills of the tutors and the comprehensiveness of the content shared to the student, an action that will help in guaranteeing competitiveness (Burns, 2017 p.310). The administrators will be there to ensure good coordination between the students and tutors and also that the inquiries are attended within the minimum duration.

Contingency Plan

Due to the increased threat of cyber-attacks, the projects will have an implementation of various security measures. Firstly, there will be regular feasibility tests to assess any potential loopholes that can leak or give way to hackers (Sun and Chen, 2016). Equally, in the establishment of the project, there will be an implementation of a multilevel security system. This will be achieved through the creation of accounts for the respective tutor and the students. Contingency planning will help in the awareness and the preparedness of the organization (Burns, 2017 p.306). In turn, the accounts will help in regulating the privilege that each of the students will be having. There may be a presence of students who their geographical location is beyond the scope of the organization. Therefore, the project focuses on virtual meetings, assessment, and reporting. However, in order to ensure that the communication made to each of the students will land in the safe hands, each of the data will be encrypted. The encryption will ensure that communication is only accessed by the designated person.

Personal Reflection

The success of any business activity relies on the implementation of innovative approaches and meeting the clients’ needs. The clients will always object, support, or even reject a particular idea if it fails to meet the expected results. Thus, I deduced that it is necessary to consider the response of potential clients and also have flexible approaches that will accommodate various changes along the way. The collection of the feedback can be through social media platforms and the response from the marketing department. The management should work towards the utilization of the information gathered from the marketing department and the other feedback collection tools. The sustenance of the customers’ needs requires the regular checking of the feedback made towards various products or services. The validation of a link that will help the students will engage with each other can help in access to the contentment level of the students. It may not be possible to collect information from the feedback platform, but it may be much easier to assess the contentment level of a student depending on how they express the comprehension of the content, their comments towards the tutors, and the fellow students. Thus, it is essential to instill features and tools that will help I collection of up-to-date information so as to supplement that newly implemented changes and determine the framing of the approaches to be employed in the future.

In every business idea, it is essential to consider the customers’ and employees’ motivation. The motivation is easily done when the management has the track records of individual employees or clients. The validation of the communication platform for the students will help in assessing the contentment level, the overall progress, and the data can be used in the establishment of future strategies. The presence of records also necessitates the choice made by the management in relation to future plans. Since most of the approaches may be outdated with time, it essential to have the view that the employees and the clients have. The consideration can be later made in relation to the market trends before settling on a particular decision. Eventually, the organization will be able to implement the most effective strategies and approaches. Meeting the employees’ expectations translates to a positive response to the changes, improved competence, the establishment of a good organization’s reputation, and increased productivity. Conversely, meeting clients’ expectations will help in building an excellent reputation and an increased turnout for new clients. A good reputation serves as an endorsement when it comes to marketing activities. Thus, meeting both the employees’ and the clients’ expectations, through the assessment of their feedback, can guarantee the sustenance of quality services delivery.
