Players have different potentials and implications, and it is through a critical analysis of the diagram that the company comes to understand the impact between various connections. The approach defines the relationship between the player’s influences as well as tracking alternative players. This paper will strictly focus on the crucial player in Apple Inc. The company, who include staffs, customer, suppliers, and investors, with the help of OPTM model to identify the impact and connection between its key employees.

Key players

A key player is an employee who plays the most crucial role in an organization. Among the most critical player are the customers who are always prioritized due to their continued support of Apple Company. Customers may be in the form of organizations or individuals who are supplied with Apple brands in exchange for money (Fairholm, 2014). Apple’s staffs are yet another critical player who aids in taking company operations to the next level and the most prioritized after customers. The team provides exceptional services for the company based on their expertise, and gain in terms of benefits and salaries. Fairholm (2014) further suggested that investors are the third most essential stakeholders. Investors determine the effectiveness of corporate social responsibility, and it is the responsibility of Apple Inc. to ensure that these types of stakeholders benefit from their investments. Notably, the practical application of corporate social responsibility makes it possible for Apple Inc. to pay investors their returns. Employees of distributors and supplied are the fourth most vital players in Apple Inc. due to their role in expanding the company’s supply chain. They have equal inserts and benefits the same as Apple Company employees.

The four illustrated types of Apple Inc. have varied influence on the operations of the company. On their part, employees, who are the most prioritized among the four, have the most significant power in elevating the company’s performance (Fairholm, 2014). It is through effective utilization of employee’s expertise that the company will thrive. All staff roles are geared towards addressing customer’s needs, and a company cannot reach customers without employees. Investors impact Apple’s operation hugely. Investor’s most significant interest is to maximize returns from their investments in addition to boosting corporate social responsibility of the company. An employee of supplies impacts Apple’s Inc. operation positively by expanding the chain of supply, thereby reaching a wide range of customers. Apple Company protects the rights of supplier’s employees under the Supplier Code of Conduct.

The types of stakeholders have limits when it comes to exercising their powers and duties. As supreme stakeholders, employees should have limits when seeking services from employees. Importantly, they should engage in only illegal investment practices, and they are liable for damaged caused. Additionally, supplier’s employees should operate under the Supplier Code of Conduct, and its violation leads to termination. These suppliers should sell Apple’s products at recommended prices and directives.

Change of applied influence

The impact or influence impacted by the various stakeholders in the market can either be improved or reduced. On their part, investor’s influence will be felt most once they invest hugely in Apple’s shares. Alternatively, low investments among the investors demote their importance on Apple Company shares. Employees of suppliers still have similar power, like the one impacted by apple Employees. Notably, their continued expansion of Apple’s products supply chain attracts a positive influence as a result of securing a wide range of customers.

Supplier’s employees have a direct association with customers as a result of the engagement of the tow a personal level. A healthy relationship between the two expands the supply chain of Apple’s company products.

It worth noting that OPTM analysis provides the relationship between various stakeholders, which describes their obligations towards the other. Importantly, OPTM provided the priority attached to each player by Apple Company Inc.

Customers should always be prioritized due to their continued support of Apple Company. Investors should determine the effectiveness of corporate social responsibility, and it ought to be the responsibility of Apple Inc. to ensure that these types of stakeholders benefit from their investments.
