Economics and the Development
Part 3
Firstly, it is well evident that mainly economic relates to the economic development of a specific area or a nation where the designated environment settles. This is because an economy to be very productive, there must be the presence of a sustainable environment. There are various factors that we have to discover the environment contributes to the sufficient prosperity of an economy; these factors are the ones we are; on most occasions, the situation is the one which is responsible for feeding the economy. This means that the environment is needed to be protected so that it can ensure that it sustains the favorable climate for the active growth of plants and protections against climatic epidemics such as floods and droughts. In addition to this, the environment is responsible for making sure that it provides the economy with the necessary resources for its prosperity and healthy growth. These resources are such as water, which is mainly used in cultivation and farming. We also have timber, which is used for constructions and even foreign exchange markets for the economy (Everett et al., 2010, pg. 36).
Apart from timber, we have natural resources such the gold, diamond, and sand. This means that these minerals are used for the economy’s economic growth, such as foreign exchange, which provides revenue for the economy. Besides that, we have another major important factor which the environment has towards the economy. This is the provision of various job opportunities and occupations. This is brought out by the multiple activities brought out by the environment, such as farming and cultivation activities; we also have the work of mining the natural resources, which is also a compelling job opportunity for those that are skilled with this occupation. In an overall overview, the natural resources are essential in sustaining the economic wellness of an economy and those people living in it. We also have, in the case of carbon emissions brought out by human activities such as the fueling machinery, bring out a lot of carbon emission. Still, due to the presence of the environment, it is responsible for sucking the gases. This generally shows how the situation is essential for the sustainability of an economy (Everett et al., 2010, pg. 36).

Part 4
In a deep discussion of the above points of how the environment is essential for growth a d economic prosperity of an economy, the author supports these points in a very critical way. This is because for an economy to grow and prosper, there is a need for a healthy environment. In the case of the factors brought out by the environment for the prosperity of an economy. For example, in the case of preventing natural epidemics such as floods and droughts, the environment must be there to avoid these epidemics from happening; in the case of droughts, people must avoid deforestation, and in the case of flooding people must practice agroforestry. If these two conditions are adhered to, then it means that the environment is very free from these natural disasters. If they are not adhered to, then this means that the economy may face stiff consequences of losses and also low economic growth. This brings out that the environment must be protected to ensure that these factors favor the economy.
Besides natural epidemics, we also have the provision of natural resources. These natural resources, which are water, minerals, timber, and many other more, are essential for the growth of an economy. This means that the economy in a very vast way it depends on the environment in all the activities. And for these resources to come in aid to the economy, this means that we must use them in the essential way that will help the economy and also that will not harm the environment. The author mainly supports that the situation is significant critical support for the economy, and it must hence be protected as we also gather the natural resources from by doing this, we will both benefits, and also the environment will be safe. The author also goes further and illustrates how the situation is essential in making sure that we have the opportunity of acquiring various job opportunities. And these opportunities come from the resources that the environment offers to as; this highly supports how the situation is essential in the economic growth of an economy.
