Love as a Theme in Art
In my exhibition, the central theme that I have chosen to use is about Love and has proved to be the most consistent in ancient times. In exploring this theme, Love has been seen to be a feeling that is really strong and acts as a bond which connects individuals both extrinsically and intrinsically. The theme has, over time, been seen to have a most significant number of motivators. What is fantastic about the subject is that it inspires artists throughout the world. When considering every theme, all the way from music to paintings, dances, and sculptures, everyone has an idea that revolves around the element of Love has a whole. Overtime, Love has been perceived as a theme that is despondent, for instance, in the aspects concerning heartbreak, jubilance in first Love, and passion that exists between lovers not excluding special Love that parents share with their children all make the topic key in interest. Else, the theme has proved superior due to its persuasive power in connecting caste, gender, ethnicity, and race. The theme connects human beings at a level that is high and makes an essential tool in urging peace and humanity that involves a global scale. I chose the topic since it is a tool in recommending peace and understanding at a worldwide level. What is most important is power to connect individuals on a heart to heart basis. In presenting the exhibit, am obliged to use PowerPoint as a model of presentation since it is easier to illustrate and makes it convenient in expression of this crucial theme. Therefore, by the use of paintings and artworks, everything is going to gain the essence it needs in visualizing different elements. Therefore, our theme is going ton explore Love in the ancient world. Thus, the exhibition is aimed at sending the viewers down the journey of what makes Love a vital discussion topic. In my artwork, I am going to search for various websites to obtain images that offer information depicting my theme, which is life. They involve; the National Gallery of Art, Wikimedia Commons, the MET collection, and many others. Therefore, as can be seen, I am going to apply various sources, and thus the exhibit is to blow the people’s minds and change life as well.
