Reflection Paper on Smell and Taste
Through the scene of taste, we can distinguish the different texture of different objects used. The sense of taste enables us to differentiate between the sweet and the bitter food. On the other hand, the sense of smell is essential in our body, and it help us to distinguish between fresh air as well as being able to identify when something is smelling bad. Our sense of smell is strong during the young age but as we get older id decreases such that a person of 90 years cannot really tell the flavor used in particular food and .However older people are more sensitive in smell as compared to a 20 year old person Sometimes we think that food is delicious because of its taste though that is not the case .
A sense of smell and a sense of touch are as a results of flitting taste buds that send an important signals in brain which help it to identify sweet or bitter food as well as identifying whether it has nutrients or its poisoned .The brains knows where the smell signals are coming from through the use of nostrils .The sense of tastes does not end in mouth but it receptors the entire body .The sense of taste is used as a fusion in food taste which enable us to smell and touch every sensation for identification purposes . Once the perfume is experienced in the flavor, the sense get connected, that is, smell influences tastes and the taste influence smell. The sense of smell and taste plays a significant role in our body, they go hand in hand, and where an individual needs to taste and smell food to approve that food has a delicious taste.
