Sustainability Readings and Discussion
The primary problem faced concerning sustainability practice
Sustainable development is a wide promoted impression which aims at intergrading social, cultural, and economic policy to ensure the quality of high growth. Moreover, the primary problem faced concerning sustainability practice includes Human nature since it is the supreme barrier towards the path of reaching sustainability practices ideals (“UNEP – UN Environment Programme”, 2020). Besides, to help solve issues that emerge towards achieving sustainable practices, there must exist consciousness understanding as well as other factors concerned.
Possible solutions
Until this is solved, other optimistic development will turn to zero. Moreover, the remedy to combating this problem lies in understanding consciousness (“UNEP – UN Environment Programme”, 2020). Additionally, developing a standard of living that is less expenditure sloping and preservation sloping can help combat sustainability practices. Also, the level of learning has to be on the lower level and start with young individuals as well. Changing the composition of ideals for undertaking sustainable growth to generate more what human being needs and less of whatever is unwanted can as well help in combating the practices.
Which solution do you think would make the most significant impact and why
To help combat barriers such as economy, finance, innovation, unsustainable consumption, inadequate monitoring, evaluation system, and population growth, it is essential to get through the market by paying attention to a maximum level to use resources effectively and produce goods alternatively. Besides, this will reduce pressure on the environment despite the increased consumption. Also, giving priory to innovation and economy is equally important as these factors can provide an immediate result. Moreover, giving importance on environmental consciousness and lifestyle as well can issue direct results. Long term factors, however, cannot grant results immediately as it can be hard to reach the target point of sustainable development, for instance.
