The case between the United States and Ross Ulbrecht
This case between Ross Ulbrecht and the United States of America brought up a lot of mixed reactions amongst the people in America and the people across the globe. Ross Ulbritch is an America citizens that was convicted for making, managing and running a dark net, The States that he was also engaged with drug trafficking and other crimes like money laundering and computer hacking. Ross Ulbrecht managed to create a website that he later named it the Silk Road hence the website was believed that it would change conspiracies. The government of United States thought that through the website that had been created by Ross Ulbrecht it would engage in the supporting or carrying of illegal drug trade and hacking of the computers. All this was just noted after some of suspicious transactions that were being carried in that website (Forrest, 2015).
Nevertheless, after a lot of these allegations that was made to Ross, a lot of questions were asked by the media and even people around the globe that concerned Ross. Some of the question that are still unanswered was when people asked if Ross Ulbrecht was indeed accused on matters that could involve drug trafficking and even the computer hacking by his Silk website worries was with who and how was that possible. Also other online markets and websites are still out there managing or even carrying on with the shoddy business on hacking of computers and even in illegal drug supply (Forrest, 2015).
Therefore the conspiracies in justifications on the conducts that is alleged makes crimes which are cognizable which needs no contortion that is legal. Arguments that rose up on the case never precluded the criminal charges because it is or was said that the managerial authorities that Ross Ulbrecht did accuse was never pragmatic hence the conduct which was alleged constituted the crimes in which required contortions that were not legal (Maras, 2014).
According to the Ulbritch investigations that were taken by the government of United States, it was questionable compared to the violations of rights. Silk Road was found out not to be viable because Ross Ulbrecht never agreed to have owned the website or even having any control over it. On the investigations the authorities said out that the website was somehow genially made that Ross Ulbrecht made some hidden part in its Silk Road website that operated on very secretive deals that was so hidden and would not be recognized (Maras, 2014).
The arguments was later raised upon investigations and consequent trials was then later pointed towards the Silk Road website with intentions to create enabled environment on the drug trafficking. Therefore the United States intended on prosecuting of Ross Ulbrecht who was the mastermind and went on to further shut down the Silk Road website in order to put across a warning to other people who would emulate Ross Ulbrecht. According to various arguments leveled with the judge on a relation to actions on the accused, Silk Road website was considered ethical on the social morals (Maras, 2014).
