There is a fire that presents a shadow of people passing on the wall. The shadow gives the prisoners some sense of the existence of the people and they come up with a game to determine what passes a certain time. Essay Part

Society has a code of conduct that needs one to adhere to accordingly to be acceptable. The code of conduct is always linked to the behavior which relates to an individual’s knowledge directly. The rule is always that with a clear vision and knowledge one will be in the position of keeping up with the standards The Knowledge vital for the life of human beings as it guides them on the way forward. With that in mind, the source of knowledge is what is always is important. Where one acquires the knowledge and how it directs one in making a key decision in life. Most cultures have different ways in which they make sure that their people follow their standards of living. In most cases, the knowledge is transferred from one generation to another and hence it set. The communities will though not allow their people to get their code of conduct from other communities.

The reasoning behind this is that most of the ideas of the different communities differ from one another. It is based on the point of view of the communities and how their ideas are established. In an example, while the majority of western cultures approve for same-sex marriage other continents will not live that. It is because others believe that marriage should be between husband and wife. The marriage should of people from different sex genders and reproduce children. If one goes out to stay with the whites they will probably get associated with the culture. Most of the cultures have their own belief which they hold with much esteem and need no one to interfere with their norms. It is this that is a true reflection of the allegory of the cave. The cave indicates how people are looked at within their cultures and restricted to live with the cultures no matter the circumstances. However, it also indicates that one can go out of their way and explore other cultures. Based on their views they can decide on their feeling about the communities that they live in.
