Medieval philosophy refers to the construed theories of Western Europe amid the artistic pagan culture decline and the renaissance. The Renaissance in Europe happened due to escalated relationships among various cultures (commercial revolution), rediscovery of ancient Greek and Roman texts, the rise of humanism, the high merchant class (trade opportunities in East, and the effects of conflicts and death. The rest of Europe failed to implement the renaissance due to black plaque that caused the restructuring of the society and needed patrons for its guidance and maturity process.

In the Middle ages, only religious leaders could read and write since they studied the Bible. Due to the technological innovations in the Rennaisance, people had pedagogical knowledge received from Ancient Rome and the Bible. Pluralism manifested in the Medieval ages since people accepted the teachings from the Catholic Church, geography, and science.  Rennaisance period, people started to question the Church teachings (Hay, n.p.). The highlighted factors, like war, schism, and disease, influenced the Rennaisance. The Western Schism damaged the reputation of the office, whereby the popes excommunicated each other. The new relationship with Greek Christians works during the renaissance, and the rebirth of the ancient Greek texts led to the protestant reformation. The increased domains led to the restructuring of the administrative authorities.

The crusades led to the emergence of the renaissance. At the timeframe of the Medieval, there existed a sequence of religious war. The noblemen attempted to capture the holy land belonging to the Muslims. In the middle ages, crusades had a profound effect on the people. It resulted in the conflict disparities among various religious groups (Hay, n.p.). The war came as a result of the increased people interactions among multiple communities. The people fought to protect their religion. The spiritual ideals of wars caused ideological sharing among various leaders and spearheaded their principles in spreading across the nations. The war resulted in the acquisition of scientific and philosophical knowledge (CrushCourse, n.p.). The availability of the Silk Road led to the spreading of ideological views across Eurasia, but the war continued and expanded the dimension. The war in different geographical locations led to the invention of new ideas. People also learned about other people’s culture, food, and societal composition.

Finally, Black Deaths caused renaissance. Various geographical areas had an infectious disease presence. In the 14th century, the Balck Death ravaged the human population in regions like Asia and Europe due to the escalated trade zones via trading ports (Hay, n.p.). Over two-hundred million people perished, thus high mortality and increased pestilence. Many people succumbed due to the pandemic. During the Middle Ages, people believed in the use of traditional medicine. The outbreak of the diseases led to great discoveries. The artists in anatomy took empirical researches for the proper medication (Boccaccio, 220). Therefore, the pandemic led to the enhanced surgical procedures and development of the new medicine since the physicians left alchemy and superstition beliefs.

The great schism, war, and diseases influenced the renaissance. The roman catholic differences brought about by the pope administrative differences led to the emergence of the protestant denominations due to the humanism approaches. The crusades in different parts of the world led to the people’s interaction creating modern innovative ways.
