The Reggio Emilia approach
This approach helps to support the interests of the child, such as what she would like to be when he grows up and the kind of things he wants to learn. The environment of the approach is space-based that will help the child to do their projects freely. Space should not be cleaning once the children are out for lunch of such other activities, yet they have not complemented their project; thus, it should be placed aside so that children can come and visit their projects; this will motive their emotions that they had invested in doing the project. The classrooms have different designs that motive the child in making designs such as drawings of animals; this helps the child to learn new things.
The materials that are used help them to appreciate nature and do more research over things that they are learning since through this approach child learn through trying to find out how things are. Children have long term projects that help them in advancing their learning and help them have appropriate skills. The materials are open-ended in that they don’t have a specific manner they are being done; this helps them to learn easily.
The teachers in this method help children to discover and learns new things, such as why the shadow varies in different timelines or the reason why the sun is in different positions. In this approach, the teacher helps children in responding to what they are asking so that he can make it clear to them. Additionally, the teacher takes a record of what they have learned so that they can visit and look at what they have been learning.
