Alexander the great served as the king of Macedonia, conquered the empire that extended from Balkans up to modern-day Pakistan. He was the son of Phillip II and Olympia’s. Alexander the great is known to be a warrior where he changed the world through different significant ways. They include; introduction of new fighting for the Greeks, where he also influenced the Persians to the Greek’s way of life. He ensured that everyone in his empire had a view of the wide world. What is astonishing is how, in his career, he never lost any battle even though he got outnumbered several times during his journey (Fuller, 2018). However, just like his Greek predecessors, he conquered all the smashing victories over forces that seemed to be superior in numbers. All his success can be credited to his tactics more so the Phalanx, which gave a chance to his enemies for attaching them. What was important in his career is that he understood the significance of cavalry, which served as an offensive weapon because it was used in compensating for smaller armies. Alexander the Great was known for changing his tactics even in the middle of battles. For instance, when he does not confront the front, he would be at the top of an overlooking hill trying to figure out the best approaches from turning the battled to his favor.

Further, alexander the great was known for his anger as well as him being merciful. In the case where one settlement failed to comply, he would use force where he would end up burning it to the ground. So, the legacy of Alexander the great was in bring the east and west together, leading to unity in brotherhood. He ensured that many individuals of different decedents were brought together into being one people (Peltonen, 2019). They spoke a common language, traded a multitude of goods where they would use common currency as their means of exchange.

Additionally, they shared knowledge of mathematics, science in addition to medicine. People began enjoying the view of the world from a young man’s perspective from Macedon, who did not live to enjoy his dream. Through all these, he got the origin of how he would be remembered as alexander the great through his legacy of being a warrior and being the bringer of culture.

Through different processes and actions, Alexander the Great got his origin for being remembered as his alexander the great. He was the king of Macedonia, who also overthrew the persona empire. Alexander had the idea of the Persian team even though he required a wealth of Persia. Further, alexander helped in the conquering of western Asia Minor. He aimed at isolating the Persian fleet from their base and, in the end, destroying it as a capable fighting force.

The origin of his greatness was through defeating their enemies in the battle of Chaeronea and the sacred band when he got proclaimed as the king of Macedonia when he was 20 years. Further, he is said to have had a series of wins, which ensures that he a complete control over Greece. All these victories convinced the whole of Greece to accept the rule of alexander the great. Hence, within a short time, he ultimately gained control over Greece. He is also known for combusting the Achaemenid Empire, where he conquered the battle of the gracious river where alexander the great killed some high ranking Persian nobles (Stock, 2016). He is known for being calculative before venturing in any war with the enemies. For instance, before he ventured in the battle with his enemies that he needed securing of his chain of supplies during the siege of tire and Gaza. Additionally, he is known for conquering the Achaemenid Empire during the battle of Gaugamela in 331 BC.

In conclusion, alexander the great is one of the histories of military minds and an ancient Macedonian rule which served as the king of both Persia and Macedonia. He is known to have established one of the largest empires that ever existed in the ancient world. Alexander was influential, where he inspired his team to follow him everywhere since he motivated them with gifts and encouraged them to do the impossible. Further, through his determination, he won over 1o different battles and was able to bring together diverse groups that were enemies together. He also helped in the building of cities that are named after him, alexander. He remains the greatest since he introduced different cities that, even today, they are vital cultural centers. Hence, alexander is seen as one of the most powerful and influential leaders that ever existed.
