The common factors of the business growth entail that
factor the facilitate the development of the small business to become large
business entities.
For a small business to be successful, various factors
contribute to growth. Even though growth is subjective, most of the
interviewees describe the success of a business as the sustainability of the
business, getting to do what they love, the business generating revenue, and
making positive change in the society by positively impacting the life of the
people through corporate social responsibility. Some of the interviewers also
ask the questions about the recommendation to enhance the growth of the business,
because of their belief that the recommendations play a critical factor in the
growth of the business. The recommendations do not only increase the growth of
the business but also open up new opportunities for collaboration with other
people in the field.

“Well, I just had a dream, a passion for being an
entrepreneur and I had another couple efforts where I tried to start my own
company and I. Fortunately, this time around had someone to mentor me and help
me get started so, I quit my job about five years ago and this whole time in
the business with a close friend of mine named Randy Williams who had built a
similar company and said he would help me get started so. He was able to bring
me onto my first contract under his company, and that was the start of Pro
source 360 back in 2000…. I guess it was 2011. Officially.
Networking, building and maintaining relationships with
the existing actor of the business such as the business owners, communities, co
government, anon profit-making organizations allow for the improvement and the
growth of the small business. The skill enhances the ability of a person to
maintain the relationships with fellow business owners who understand your
strengths and weakness is lead to the identification of the new opportunities
that can be exploited by the business to achieve the desired level of growth.
As students, we get to learn that networking is the gatekeeper to any industry
that you aspire to work for or join. Hence networking and building of
relationships are essential in the creation of a sense of a community where
people or businesses can cooperate in emerging prosperously.

‘No, we use job sites; we use referrals; we use the
network. Sometimes we just do target recruiting. We’ll help somebody, that we
need to go get them, and we’ll do what we need to do to make it happen.?”
The involvement of the community and the market are also
an essential factor for the growth of the small business. Identification of the
stable market of the business is one of the critical for the growth of the
business. Besides, the engagement of the community is critical because the
communities form the market that creates demand for the product of the business.
The provision of the educational training and
coaching programs by the nonprofit making organization, schools, and other
entities is equally essential for the growth of a small business. Despite the
disadvantage of the programs, the programs are important in equipping the
stakeholder in the business with the required skill to facilitate the growth of

Interview 041217. Interviewee states that “Fortunately just a
little bit of it because I had somebody who actually kind of mentored me again
and warned me and so I took that advice and before that happened I did, you
know I did an acquisition, I accelerated my growth, and I got the company to
$100 million because that’s where you really need to be to be able to compete.
And so, I avoided a lot of those things and this is some of the things that I
try to teach some of the companies that I’ve mentored but some listen, some
don’t.”

business growth is attributed to her motivation to work for herself. “The key factors:
focus, accountability, commitment, and execution. Yeah, focusing on a strategic
plan, corporate growth, being accountable to your team and transparent at the
same time, communicating the vision, and executing with purpose in a timely
manner”.
Uniqueness and Creativity
Uniqueness and creativity are required in the
business to enhance the growth and development of the business. Both the
uniqueness and creativity are essential in the business as they facilitate the
business towards the realization of the goal of the business as well as making
the business remain relevant and stand against the competition. Some businesses
have emerged successful in the market because of the uniqueness while remaining
relevant in the market because of their ability to change with time to become
unique in the brand and trademark. Besides, creativity is a critical factor for
the growth of the business because of the increased levels of competition.
Businesses need creative individuals to stand out from the increasing
competition in the market.

firm, from my perspective, is the fact that we’ve been able to develop strong
stakeholder relationships, and carry those across the boundaries into the
solutions that we have.”
From the interview, the basis of competition in the
market is the ability of the business to main creativity and uniqueness to
attract potential customers.
The small businesses have this unique and creative way
because they own and manage themselves. Ultimately, it is essential to note
that as the business emphasizes uniqueness and creativity, the small business
needs to appreciate the importance of consistency in its products to assure the
customers of the quality and the accessibility of the business.
