becoming an auto mechanic
Ever since I was a young boy, I dreamt of becoming an auto mechanic. I used to hang around my father’s garage and watch him fix pipes, change the motor oil, and repair other electric devices on his old model Ford truck. From that moment, I had the desire to be like my father, who I thought was an auto mechanic. However, he had studied electrical engineering, so he brought me up knowing that someday later, I would follow in his industrial footsteps.
As years passed by and I was becoming older, I started helping him in the garage and on the farm tractor. I increasingly began to find mechanics to be interesting. Some years later, when I was turning 12 years old, I began all that entailed applied mechanics, especially to automobiles. By this time, I had started having the urge to abandon my gas RC and ask my father for a ride around. Instead, I was offered a motorbike that could often breakdown. So, i had to fix it myself. Since then, I was keen on building and my knowledge of automobiles, from detaching and rebuilding small gas RC and motorbike engines. Moreover, my dedication to discovering and mastering has enhanced my proficiency in many things, especially engine and transmission technology. I owe this to both the technical periodicals I subscribe to and my membership with the local library that provides fascinating and up-to-date magazines on automobile mechanics.
I have always wanted to become an auto mechanic because of the passion I have for Formula 1. The speed at which the F1 cars are able to compete with is palpable. The aerodynamics and technicality required for the cars to produce stability at that speed, yet humans design them, inspires me to be part of the industry that builds them. I always research on information that delves deep into the team that design and build these cars and get inspired to be part of them.
