Choco Layer Cake

Follow the given Choco layer cake recipe, and this cake is very moist and easy to make at home.

Ingredients

  • Plain flour 1.5 cups
  • Powder sugar 1.5 cups
  • Butter 1 cup
  • Eggs 5
  • Cocoa powder ½ cup
  • Almond powder ½ cup
  • Baking powder 1 tbsp
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp

Chocolate Ganache

  • Sweetened dark chocolate 300 gms
  • Fresh cream 200 ml
  • Butter 100 gms
  • Gratted chocolate as you required
  • Cherry 1

Method

  1. Preheat oven at 350 º F for 20-25 minutes. Greece the 6-inch pan by applying melted butter or oil with the help of the brush.
  2. Take a bowl and add plain flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and almond powder. Mix them well and set aside.
  3. Take another bowl to add butter and sugar, beat them well with the help of a beater.
  4. Add an egg in the butter-sugar batter and beat this. In the same way, add all eggs one by one and beat them.
  5. Now add vanilla essence and dry batter in the butter-sugar batter and mix it to make a very fine form.
  6. Now pour this batter in the pans and put it in the oven and bake for 20 minutes.
  7. After baking cake sponge, take it off from the oven and let it cool.
  8. To prepare ganache, take a bowl, add butter and chocolate, and melt them in the microwave oven for 1 to 2 minutes.
  9. Add cream in butter and chocolate mix them well. Keep in the refrigerator to let it cool.
  10. Put the cake on the cake stand. Take a slice cutter. Fix the cake into it and cut it into five layers.
  11. Prepare cake serum by taking a half cup of milk and two tsp sugar a few drops of vanilla essence. Mix them and apply them on the first layer of cake to make the cake soften.
  12. Now apply ganache on the first layer and apply it smoothly.
  13. Now put another layer on it and apply serum and ganache on it as applied on the first layer.
  14. In the same way, but all layers on it and apply serum and ganache one by one on each layer.
  15. After adding ganache on the top layer and also apply on the outer sides of the cake.
  16. Sprinkle the grated chocolate on the top layer and outer sides of the cake.
  17. Put a cherry in the center.
  18. Your cake is ready. Let it cool in the refrigerator before serving.
