The difference between ASPCA and Animal Rescue
The American Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) is a non-profit organization devoted to averting cruelty to animals. ASPCA was established in 1866, and it is based in New York City. The mission of the ASPCA is to provide effective ways of preventing cruelty to animals through the government of the United States (Thomas,36). ASPCA is privately funded with more than 2 million supporters in the country, while Animal Rescue is a non-profit organization with the mission of protecting young born animals. Animal Rescue gets its funding from taxpayer money and adoption fees. The two organizations are similar since they work towards protecting animals. There are some endangered species of animals that should be protected from extinction hence the need for these kinds of non-profit organizations. Therefore it is necessary to have such an organization to enhance the protection of such animals in order to prevent their extinction.
ASPCA started purposely to protect animals from cruelty while Animal Rescue was formed to protect young born animals and to provide room for the adoption of such animals. ASPCA is different from Animal Rescue in some aspects, even though all the two organizations are geared towards protecting animals. ASPCA has tried to make efforts to protect animals that are endangered while Animal Rescue has built special places where parentless and young animals are kept so that they may be adopted by people who are willing.
