The international association of air transport
The international association of air transport has updated analysis on the financial impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the global air transport industry. Spain’s government would need to reduce its revenue in the airline industry since Covid -19 has impacted the global financial crisis. The oil price would also have to fall significantly since it would provide relief, significantly cautioning hedging practices that would postpone the airlines. The government would need to support the airline industry post-Covid-19 in terms of subsidies for several years before the country recovers from the Covid-19 crisis (Soetikno et al., 2020). The airline industry’s market concentration needs to be supported by the government both in Spain and Germany since there would be consideration opportunities as the airline industry rebound. The government will also need to support the airline employees to reduce lay-offs, unemployment, and cost. The airline industry small flag carriers also need the government support driving into consideration with government ownership. The government also need to make big decisions regarding marketing structure scenario divestitures and sales of purchase minority stake equity (Soetikno et al., 2020). the airlines also need to be ramped up once the airport and other countries reopen. The financial course and team would need to be intimately involved in the protection of cash levels, capture the revenue delaying the cash-out.
Recommendation
The airline needs to establish the management of projects to manage cash until the environment can stabilize the normal process of financial routine, which should be implemented once again. There also should be a time where the airline industry is can take the data-driven action with time-oriented to support the digital approach (Nicola et al.,2020). the airlines will need to address the process which leverages the digital tool for making the right tradeoffs with significant challenges that should be sent possibly. The government and the Airline management in Spain should also continue to access the need to take further actions in the case where the crisis evolves.
