Turnipseed Nature Preserve is a 265-acre park located South of Wendell a few miles near Johnson County line. It was opened to the public three years ago (WakeGOV, 2020). The park is a good place for hiking, picnic, fishing, and just taking a scroll while watching wildlife. The park is usually flooded with people during the summer around Mother’s day up to the first week of August. The park has fewer people during winter hours from August up until Mother’s Day. It is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 am to 6 pm. Morning hours are the best to visit the preserve when it has few people.

Zebulon Community Park has a big park where several playing activities take place. Such activities include golf, softball, and baseball (Raleigh, 2020). The park also has walking trails that are used for athletics. It is a 47-acre park and is located in Zebulon, North Carolina, and it is a 10-minute drive via Morphus Bridge road from Wendell, North Carolina, USA. The park is open to the public every day of the week from 7 am to 6 pm. The best time to visit the park is from 7 am to 9 am when there is less traffic.

Liberty Park is a one-acre public park located 6.0 miles from Wendell, North California, via Morphus Bridge Road. The park was opened four years ago. Statues of America’s response Monument and The sphere are located in this park (Lipsky, 2016). The two statues are a silent remembrance of warfare. Additionally, it is open every day of the week from 6:30 am to 7 pm. It is most recommended to visit the park before 9 am to avoid traffic and it is safe for everyone, including pets and children.
