“Don’t struggle about the struggle. In other words, life’s full of ups and downs. So if you’re struggling, don’t worry, everyone else has or will at some point.” — Sean Covey
In my home country Morocco, I learned the value of social interaction at a very young age. I volunteered in Lala Salma hospital, which diagnose patients fighting with cancer. The community services of assisting nurses and making children happy fighting with the battle of cancer somehow changed my personality. I had a deep desire in my heart to do something for people who are despaired and hopeless. Meanwhile, to achieve my goal, I graduated High School in 2017. I moved to Germany in 2018, where I volunteered in an orphanage. I established deep connections with toddlers and children and played with them to make them happy.
From Morocco to Germany, Germany to the US, I gained experience, which boosted my confidence to face life challenges with courage and determination. I mastered five languages i.e., Arabic, English, Spanish, French, and German, which helps me to interact with people quite comfortably. My fluency and command over all languages provided me an experience to help translate for Syrian Refugees back in Germany.
In my opinion, self-confidence and determination open paths towards a successful life. My determination and eagerness for potential learning never famished. With this potential of learning, I scored 4 out of 4 A’s in the first semester in Valencia College 2019. Even my third semester is not ended yet; I have all A’s in my pocket. I achieved everything in my life with self-determination and self-belief. Nothing can stop you from achieving goals in your life if you are determined.
In the future, I am determined to pursue my dream of becoming a dentist by attaining a bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida. My deep interest in the field of medicine allowed me to embrace myself in certain situations, such as when I interacted with patients in a cancer hospital as a volunteer when I became friendly with orphans and when I helped Syrian refugees solve their language barriers. This Seneff Honors academic program is a golden opportunity in my life to boost my skill growth. The comprehensive approach to learning with specialized courses is the opportunity for a person like me to explore things. The specialized courses will sharpen my practical skills and help me learn many professional things which will be beneficial in my practical life. Moreover, unique out of class experiences is something I am looking for long. These experiences will eventually allow me to open up myself to others so I can listen to them and provide a solution to their problems.
I hope to use this academic program to achieve my future goals because Universities prefer students with Honours graduation distinction. This program will enhance my skill growth and practical growth, which are the most significant aspects of professionalism. The admission to this Seneff Honors program is going to bring a massive change in my life, which I am looking forward to with deep interest.
