misrepresentation of data and the correct representation
With the exponential growth of data, it has become necessary to rely on it to make a critical decision in business, among other areas. Hence having a proper understanding of the data is paramount to avoid making mistakes that would cost a company millions in revenue. One way to ensure data is well understood is to visualize it (Farboodi & Veldkamp, 2019). Different charts are used to visualize data to make it easy to comprehend. However, despite having the data represented in a chart, there must be no misinterpretation of the visualization; otherwise, it would lead to a disaster. Below is some of the misrepresentation of data and the correct representation.
A histogram is used in this case.
In the first part, every bar has a different color, which is not correct (Li et al., 2019). The labels in the data should be enough to do the work. The color should be the same throughout.
