Game 1: Solid Gameplay by Team Fnatic
Considering the lineup of both teams, both teams had a similar objective in mind to drag the game as much as possible, letting the carries get the most farm. To shut down the core heroes, both teams manage to get decent kills on either side’s core heroes. In an attempt to get the bottom tier tower, Fnatic lost its two core heroes in the process, which heavily favored the side of TNC.
Soon after, TNC canceled the TP of DK on the top lane but unable to quickly secure the kill, it created enough space for Fnatic players to rotate and turn around the fight in their favor. The game started to shift towards the side of Fnatic at that point as TNC heroes started to lack necessary damage and lockdown that was crucial for getting them kills to make a comeback.
On the other hand, Fnatic played exceptionally well by prioritizing the backlines of TNC first in every team fight. Around 30minutes into the game, Fnatic smoked and picked off a high kill on PA, resulting in them not only winning the team fight by getting four kills, but also forcing the buybacks on multiple heroes.
TNC was far behind in the game, so they decided to claim the Roshan kill. Fnatic put up a decent fight to stop them but lost three heroes in the process. TNC was close to getting the kill on Spectre but was unsuccessful in doing so. TNC went in the pit to kill the Roshan, but both Spectre and Earthshaker killed both cores of TNC and claimed the aegis for themselves.
At this point, TNC missed its only chance to make a comeback. TNC players took the team fight but were only able to kill one support hero of Fnatic and lost all five heroes in the process. With no options left, TNC forcefully tapped out, resulting in a great win by Fnatic.
Game 2: Comprehensive Victory by Team Fnatic
Game 2 was looking much better for the side of TNC with considerable damage and team fight potential heroes. However, Fnatic made sure to answer the TNC with their massive combo and catch-potential lineup. Both teams played exceptionally by getting decent pick off at regular intervals.
The first successful team fight win went in favor of Fnatic as they prioritized in killing off the core NP and destroying the Phoenix egg first in the fight. Afterward, the Roshan fight also went horribly wrong for the TNC side as they lost the aegis to Fnatic and lost multiple heroes in the process.
Afterward, both teams played really well by winning a crucial fight and getting great pickoff across the map. However, TNC was unsuccessful in answering the high ground push of Fnatic and made terrible decisions about carrying out the team fight. On the other hand, Fnatic just stood their ground and killed the TNC heroes one after another.
Soon after, TNC made a big mistake of chasing down the Fnatic heroes outside the base, which proved costly. Faceless Void laned a great Chronosphere, which resulted in instant two deaths, followed by easy kills of core heroes of TNC. With no buybacks on hand, TNC tapped out, and Fnatic closes the series with a comprehensive 2-0 victory.
