Prerequisite

For this assignment, you will need FIRST to choose a topic related to the critical analysis assignments (Topic A or Topic B). You will work with this topic for the remainder of the session, so choose the topic that interests you most.  There are five articles provided for each item, and you will add your article selections to these throughout the session. It is strongly recommended that you read through all of the critical analysis assignments before beginning CAA #1.

 

You may use this document as a template for this assignment. For item #1, you should delete the table that does NOT correspond to your chosen topic.

Complete each of the following steps. Your responses should be numbered to correspond with each of the steps.

  5. Choose ONE of the questions you have created. For the item you have selected, create a null (H0) and alternative/research hypothesis (H1). Be sure to label each accordingly. (2 pts.)

(H0) There was no relationship, especially love, that existed between the children who experienced a painful childhood and the perpetrators.

(H1( The childhood adversities and exposure to violence caused severe trauma that affected their future mental and health life.

  1. In your own words, explain the underlying logic of hypothesis testing. Use your null and alternative hypotheses from #3 in your explanation. You may wish to draw a picture first to help guide your comment. (2 pts.)

The hate toward the people who made you go through pain made children engage in violence with was due to the trauma they experienced.
