For that reason, the trainer should understand how the brain operates when it is stressed to soothe it to the lower centers of the brain. It can be done through breathing and having some movements to allow the child to calm down. After the child has calmed down, it is easy for them to learn a new strategy that will help them become conscious of their behavior and how to do it differently.

Problem behavior in preschool children can be rectified by using an example of academic challenges where the teacher has to look at the deficit that makes the child fail and work on it. Punishments and frustrations cannot meet the need if a preschool kid to change the behavior. The educators should support these learners with interventions that would teach them the discipline that is missing. The interventions will help only the child to change their problem behavior by recognizing how to regulate their emotions related to the deficit. The child will also get an opportunity to learn how to manage their frustrations and upset.

As the child struggle with their rectifying their behavior, the teachers should know that it is not right and their job to get rid of their behaviors. Instead, they should help them by teaching them a healthy strategy to cope with their disappointment hence replacing the unwanted behavior.
