CASES ACT
Following the two articles, it is evident that they respond to two different reactions to the ongoing pandemic. The first article talks about how the bill is passed on, whereby some people take the law for their political benefit. The other material makes about how the government is taking measures to slow done and fully control the pandemic. However, this paper will discuss how and why the government should act quickly to mitigate the chaos and provide immediate measures.
To start with, the CARES Act should be a nation-wide aid to every citizen. The act should not only be for the political class that needs to benefits themselves in the next few months. The acts should ease the cost of living for American citizens who are struggling with the covid19 (Humphries et al, 2020). Therefore, the government should ensure the proper functioning of the act to all the citizens.
Besides, the government should ensure protective measures are followed, as President Trump insisted on the nose mask and the social distancing (Deroy, 2020). The government should provide all the nose masks to citizens at zero cost. This will be of great advantage to the poor people in the nation who would not afford the masks, this goes hand in hand with the hand gloves and will stop the spread of covid19.
However, the political class should be warned of using the nation’s money relief to its benefits (Deroy, 2020). Some politicians are using the funds to plan for their next election parties while others are struggling with the pandemic. It should be a government’s role to stop the wastage of the funds while are struggling with the hospital bills and preventive measures.
In conclusion, the government should enforce preventive measures for each citizen. Some of these measures include wearing a nose mask, and gloves, and social distancing. The government should also warn and stop the politicians from exploiting the citizens by using the financial aid given to their benefit. Therefore, the government should act quickly to the chaos and provide the necessary measures to stop the pandemic.
