Creating a successful leader
Various personalities tend to believe that enhancing skills and growing them is critical in creating a successful leader. For example, in the sports sector, Michael Jordan, a famous basketball star, believes that “everybody has talent, but ability takes hard work.” This inscribes the thoughts in our minds that it depends on our efforts to develop and grow leadership skills because everyone can become a great administrator. According to Jordan’s assumption, it purely depends on a person’s preferences over becoming a great leader. It is quite rare to see people become great leaders without firsthand experience or exposure. Many inspirational and great leaders such as Abraham Lincoln and Martin Luther King Jr. possessed robust learned skills together with sufficient self-awareness and motivation. A great leader cannot possibly rise into the status and become dependable in various roles unless they are not groomed among people they can work with. According to the American Psychological Association, there are complex and diversified conditions related to leadership, and they depend on their insightfulness and versatility. Along with these revelations, excellent leadership skills and characteristics do not show up unless people have the urge to enhancing them or improving their natural traits and capabilities into professional administrative positions. Having desirable attributes resonates with the development and nurturing of an individual by equipping them with power and motivation to lead a team or a group in a manner that aims at achieving set objectives.
