The vision of JANTECH UAV LLC
Vision
The vision of JANTECH UAV LLC is to offer the most flexible, cost-effective, and innovative UAV inspections, filmography, photography, and real estate solutions.
Industry
An Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV), also known as a drone, is an aircraft piloted by remote control or onboard computers (LEXICO). Until recently, most applications of UAVs are tied to military and recreational, but due to the current pandemic, companies are looking into the possibility of expanding the use of drones for business applications. For example, United Parcel Service (UPS) was the first commercial company to receive full Part 135 certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (UPS, 2019). FAA Part 135 rules govern commercial aircraft, such as non-scheduled charter. Public perception of drones has been tied to weapons or toys, rather than a business vehicle. For example, The Villages is an adult retirement community located in central Florida with a population of over fifty thousand people. During the peak of the pandemic, the community was sealed off to visitors to prevent an outbreak inside. Therefore, UPS Flight Forward Service, in partnership with CVS Health, started delivering medications to residents using drones (Salerno, 2020). The use of UAVs or drones is increasing, as are their real-world benefits.
Business Structure
JANTECH UAV LLC will be established as a single-member Limited Liability Company (LLC). The advantage of starting a business as a limited liability company include the avoidance of double taxation, pass-through deduction, and limit of personal liability (Fitzpatrick, 2020).
Product or Service
JANTECH UAV LLC will be a service provider. The company will provide the following services:
- Aerial inspections
- Agriculture inspections
- Real estate photography
- Event photography and filmography
At the same time, the company will try to establish a partnership with DSAR Inc, a national non-profit organization registered as a 501(c)(3), dedicated to search and rescue using drones (DSAR Inc., 2019). The goal is to help our community in case of emergency by offering support for search and rescue missions free of charge and offering training in damage assessment to emergency services.
How you will ensure success of this business plan.
To ensure the success of this business plan, the company will prioritize risk assessment. At the same time, the company will try to establish a strategic partnership with existing companies offering similar services around the nation to create a network of service providers. We will try to take advantage of an emerging market and will dedicate our time, effort, and resources to ensure the success of the company.
