CLINICAL PRACTICE EXPERIENCE
Clinical Practice Experience – Holistic Assessment, Analysis, & Age-Related Changes The clinical practice experience (CPE) involves a comprehensive holistic assessment on an older adult (age 65 or older). Following a holistic assessment addressing the physical, psychological, spiritual, environmental, and cultural/ethical aspects of the selected older adult, you will then document the assessment findings, using the template provided, analyze the collected data, and provide a graph with the analysis results. In addition, identify at least four normal age-related changes an older adult may experience as compared to pathological changes due to disease processes and discuss what changes, if any, are applicable to the selected client. Criteria′s to be included: 1. Assessment of the older adult includes physical, psychological, spiritual, environmental, and cultural/ethical findings using evidence-based assessment tools as needed. Template is used for documentation. 2. This criterion is linked to a Learning Outcome Analysis of findings in all areas is presented in both written and graph formats. Graph is student created. 3. At least 4 normal age-related changes are identified and compared to possible pathological changes. Those applicable to the client are identified. (Either normal age-related or pathological). 4. A reference page is included and is in correct APA format. 5. Submission contains correct spelling and grammar.
