Comparative essay structure
There are two possible structures of a comparative essay:

| In this structure, you first write about the first country’s education and work. Then you write about the other country’s education and work. As a result, you write about the two countries separately.
It may be easier to write (because you only think about one country at a time), but it is harder to make comparisons, because the information about education in one country and education in the other country is separated. | In this structure, you first write about education in Country 1 and Country 2. Then you write about work in Country 1 and Country 2.
In this structure it is easier to make comparisons and draw conclusions. Comparative sentences and drawing conclusions both in the middle of the essay and at the end of the essay will give you extra points in this assignment. |
