Response to Question Six
There are pros and cons to almost everything, and given the systems at the various volunteering opportunity organization, some problems may occur. The volunteer, in most instances, cannot be able to track the results of the work done. This unclearness limits the ability to plan for progress, consequently discouraging the volunteer from participating for years to come (Chatwin & Ackers, 2018). Other factors that may cause hesitation; untrustworthy personnel within or outside the organization involved. The organization may claim to be in touch with the community it serves. Still, the reality may be different; this limits the volunteers from figuring out what the community priority needs are. Traveling to a never been before destination can be stressful, and this may compromise the total effectiveness of a volunteer. The organization may help by providing in-depth information on the location to assist the volunteer in planning for the volunteer work.
