In the book “blood brothers” specifically chapter eight, Father Longére offers a detailed description of how different people tackle problems. Problems are bound to arise in our day to day lives no matter how accurately we counter check our decisions before putting them into practice. Problems bring a specific character out of us that aims at either solving the problem or being satisfied with the current situation.
Earlier one in life, I tended to lie mostly on the 1000 peoples’ method; arguing about the problem. This method, in my opinion, is a “lazy man’s method.” It got me spending time fixated at issues instead of focussing on the solution. With time I got comfortable with the idea of having the problem.
Later on, in life, I was appointed the leader of community service programs in our locality. It was a venture I partook with my best friend. I had never appreciated how smooth the workflow was until I received the leadership. By looking at how my friend solved her problems, I got inspired always to do something concrete. Hence as of now, my life feels like an experiment after the other. It has made me see with practicality that there are various ways to solve any problem.
Truth is sometimes I long to be as thorough as my mother. With every problem, she is that one person that involves themselves deeply in the solution that she cancels all negative opinions about the issue. The following tactic of solving problems will reduce the number of my failed solutions. In turn, it gets to provide solutions that have been analysed from every angle and found sufficient. Sometimes it may take time but time adequate to save something without wasting of resources implementing other thoughts.
