Going to War with One Horse-Sized Duck or Going to War with 100 Duck-Sized Horses
In the event of a war, it would be better to go to the war with one horse-sized duck rather than going to war with 100 duck-sized horses. It is because it would be easier to distract one horse-sized duck than distracting 100 duck-sized horses. Horses are likely to overwhelm you as they are many, but it would be difficult for one horse-sized duck to overcome you. A duck is easy to distract by using things such as corn as although it is big, it still has the mind of a duck. On the other hand, horses are more aggressive, and given their large number, it would be difficult to manipulate them all.
It is also easier to control one horse-sized duck than to control 100 duck-sized horses. It means one can easily defeat the single duck. The only weapon that the duck has is its bill, which is easier to escape. However, it would be challenging to escape kicks form 100 horses, which could be fatal despite the small size of the horses (Couts, 2013). Also, the bill of a duck is relatively flat, which means although it is large, it is likely to cause less harm compared to that of a sharp bill. The duck is hence expected to cause less damage compared with dealing with 100 duck-sized horses. Although the kick of a single duck-sized horse would be harmless, 100 horses would cause a lot of damage. It is easier to deal with one big problem than handling 100 small issues, which can be hectic.
