I agree with this. I agree that data mining has been evolving rapidly in the past few days with the rise in data generation. Again, it is true that privacy concerns are very common mainly when data is in the discussion. The data is typically utilized in the data mining process to discover the relations between big amounts of data and that the data mining process may bring out some consequences that may be against the will of people. I also agree that data mining is being employed in unlawful practices in firms just to push their products and services into the market which is unethical as it involves privacy concerns. Moreover, I also find the thought on the substantiation of privacy issues very correct, achieved by looking at how scandals are emerging recently, and hence essential for firms to prioritize security aspects in their day to day operations.

I agree with this. Indeed, we are in an era of business intelligence and data mining is more relevant now than in the past. Again, data mining involves operation using huge volumes of data and that most of the data is mainly acquired online from the interactions between companies and their clients. Moreover, it is precise that most clients do not like the idea of their personal information being used in the data mining process as some firms may sell the data they obtain from them. Again, some companies do use the clients’ information without their consent. As a result, data privacy should be taken very seriously.
