Decide on a Staffing Policy for Top Level Managers in Your Overseas Operations. How will you staff your management positions in your overseas operations?
It is not easy for a business to operate successfully at the local and global markets simultaneously. Nonetheless, a good organizational structure can be used to enhance the success of the business in local and global markets (Eva et al., 2018). Veggie Meats Company operates as a chain restaurant franchise to provide fast and healthy food products. In that regard, the assistant leader at the local market and the assistant leader at the oversea market receive guidelines from the general manager. I have selected two assistant leaders to ensure business operations run smoothly in both local and oversea markets. The assistant leaders will then guide all the other employees to ensure the customers receive great services from Veggie Meats Company.
Decide on a Staffing Policy for Top Level Managers in Your Overseas Operations. How will you staff your management positions in your overseas operations? What is your rationale for this approach? In the overseas operations, the top-level managers constitute the General Manager, Finance Manager, and Restaurant Manager. Mainly, the overseas market is very essential to Veggie Meats Company because the number of customers is many and there is high growth potential. In that regard, the staffing policy in the overseas market is to ensure the General Manager, Finance Manager, and Restaurant Manager are supervised by an assistant leader in the overseas market. The general manager will oversee all the administrative functions of the company. The finance manager will keep all the financial records of the company. The finance manager will also pay all the workers and remit returns to the headquarters. Lastly, the restaurant manager will be responsible for close control and management of all the outlets to ensure employees are attending their duties. The restaurant manager will also ensure all the food products are procured and prepared to satisfy the customers. Lastly, the restaurant manager will ensure that Veggie Meats Company adheres to corporate social responsibility. This approach will ensure the company operates in the overseas market by providing unique products and services, thereby achieving a competitive advantage.
