The topic I researched on was “Factors that motivate tourists to select a destination.” In selecting this topic, I used the online database search engines. Through this process, I was able to come up with a well-defined topic that clearly illustrates the interests of tourists as they move around the world in their adventures. The keywords that I used to conduct this research include; tourists, security interests and personal explorations. By use of these keywords on the search engines, I able to refine my researches to the most critical aspects of the topic or the entire idea.

When writing a memo, to ensure that the topic and the FAQs about the topic is well incorporated, I would choose to give essential highlights concerning the topic of research. The use of the source in this research is different from the type of writing because the topic is non-technical while my writing is majorly based on a technical approach. In the writing of a memo, I would first identify the target audience for the message to be conveyed. By doing this, I will have an opportunity to choose on the right to topics to present the written memo. The memo presentation must be tailored to the topic of the presentation.
