Ferguson Police Investigation Rights
International Labour organization advocates for a conducive working environment, for both the employees in the public service and the private sector. All member states of ILO have adopted this Labour law in their municipal laws under the bill of rights in the constitution. The Intentional disregard of these laws in the Ferguson Town and intimidation of Police Officers to achieve a specific objective; they risk facing sanctions is a major stumbling block in the implementation of the same.
The Ferguson police Officers are working under duress based on the fact if they fail to make arrests and prosecute the crime and, in the end, fail to meet target goals. Supervisors have the mandate to alter officers’ assignments or improve discipline. In the Ferguson investigation report, it is evident that not all police officers conquer with the approach adopted to raise revenue. Especially the injustices witnessed in the judicial process where the sole purpose benefit the wellbeing of the people of the city.
On the contrary, some officers from the department are working with high morale, the authority’s ambitions to meet set standards and targets revenues through fines, imposed and exaggerated fees boosted their confidence in their job. With the investigations the-relationship-between-cold-war-civil-rights-and-human-rights-discourseging all the dark to light, there’s hope for change to the citizens of Ferguson.
