Clarification on the components of the company website
Regarding the dissatisfaction on Jaclyn’s side about the meeting she had with Haniz, and various factors put into consideration, an email is the best channel for communicating. Jaclyn is an intern who has a lot of work on her plate. That is why she spends most of her time inside her office with her door closed. Haniz, on the other hand, being a senior member of the organization spends most of the time attending meetings and therefore has minimal time at the office. Besides, their offices are one floor apart, thus making it hard for physical communication. An email would be convenient in this case as Haniz can access it from wherever she is. Also, information drafted within it can be used for future reference, or as a baseline for scheduling a meeting. In turn, this channel is convenient, fast and saves on time (Derks & Bakker, 2020).
With regards to the above issue, the following email is written by Jaclyn to Haniz to elucidate her thoughts on the new website.
Subject: Clarification on the components of the company website
Dear madam
Regards. I am writing to you before the meeting we previously had on the company website. My name is Jaclyn, an intern at your company, majoring on technology. I sincerely feel like the website is incomplete, mainly due to the lack of social media integration. As the company together with its clients are technologically savvy, it only is essential that the company incorporates this feature to the website.
I have a couple of ideas which I am confident about, regarding the website. I humbly request a meeting for the above purpose.
I will be delighted if you will accord my request for your kind consideration.
Sincerely
Jaclyn
