Response two
A better understanding of culture can benefit the United States in the sense that it will help the government and citizens overcome and prevent racism and ethnic division. This is because the racial and ethnic division is the core reason for violence in society, loss of opportunities, and misunderstanding among citizens. Besides, these two factors, racism, and ethnic division can drain the communities of financial and human resources. They are also capable of disrupting cultural groups from solving the crucial matters that they have in common. Therefore, for the United States to remain United they have to learn to incorporate the cultures of every group that belongs in the United States.
