Dear Manager,

RE: RESIGNATION

I would like to notify you that I am resigning from my position as a Production Scheduler in your company effective June 19, 2019. I would like to resign from this position for many reasons, including dissatisfaction, stress, and lack of training. I have experienced an instance where people from other companies have visited the organization to give a hand in training. In such a situation, everyone else within my department gets trained except me.  The case is not only discouraging but also demoralizing. During my stay in the organization, I have had only one official week of training, and it was when I had traveled to Riddle in July 2019.  I was trained for one week, a period that was not enough for me to grasp everything vital for my job description. As a concerned employee whose intentions include team working and maximum cooperation, I have, on several occasions, asked for training from the responsible personnel, but all has been in vain.

Moreover, the most discouraging part is that I am mostly excluded from organizational meetings planned by the board, even when the meeting is relevant to my job description. Furthermore, when a meeting is about to happen, I will always be the last one to be informed. Besides, I am always blamed for orders, not shipping or dates being pushed out, but in reality, the blame should be on the production process and the equipment. Additionally, I always work longer than any other employee, yet I am not being compensated for the extra hours. Honestly, the culture is not what I expected, and I do not feel the demonstration of significant core values such as equality in your organization. As an employee who upholds high ethical standards, I feel like the whole organization is setting me up for failure.

Despite all the negative energies that I have been through, I would like to thank you very much for the opportunity as I have learned a lot about the ideal workplace.

Thank you for the opportunities for professionalism and personal development presented to me during my time here.  If there is anything I can do to help with the transition, please let me know.

Yours Sincerely,

XXXXXXX
