Dance is to move the body rhythmically and accompanied by music. The movements can be enjoyed alone and are expressions of ideas, emotions or stories. Since ancient times, dance has played an important role in royal ceremonies and public and private ceremonies. Today’s art is different from dances from previous centuries. People know there are ballet dances, tapdans, ketoprak or ballet. The style of dance in the 20th century developed with rhythmic pop music, for example cha-cha-cha dance, togo, soul, twist, and finally disco and breakdance.
