A performance evaluation system refers to a systematic way of examining the performance of employees in an organization. Organizations are expected to have the best performance evaluation system which helps employers access the performance of employees. Employers analyze exactly what the job entails and its relationship with the mission and vision of the organization. To evaluate employee performance, organizations should develop standard and measurable methods that employers will always refer to during the evaluation process. The evaluation process should be continuous throughout the year through coaching and disciplining the employees. When acknowledging all milestones that employees make, whether small or big, usually motivate employees in their roles in the organization. Another strategy that works well is providing significant and practical feedback to the employees since it encourages employees to solve their problems through employers’ guidance. Organizations, therefore, show employees the importance of their skills and ideas to the organization. Generally, ensuring motivation amongst employees in everyday jobs with other rewards added to them also improves productivity in an organization.

Nevertheless, the company can use the feedback from the users to know their performance and understand the gap involved. Additionally, Facebook developed internal software which offers continuous feedback, that quickly helps employees solve concerns before they become significant problems in the future.
