Within a changing imperial rule, there is a change in the buying capabilities of the buyer. The local jars are seen to be in a decreasing percentage from the Persian rule to a decreased in the 3rd century and lastly a small percentage in the early-mid 2nd century. The change in the political system is the socio-economic reason that saw a sudden change; it is compared to the imported pottery from the coast. 1. Describe the changes in utility vessels, table vessels, and cooking vessels over time.

There is an insignificant change in the percentages that happen for utility vessels. First, it is a drop as the Persian rule changes to the third-century rule. In table vessels, the early-mid 2nd century records the highest percentage while that recorded in the Persian era was the least. Lastly, the cooking vessels recorded a slight change, with the two centuries having the same quantity. From the above changes, there are socio-economic factors that might have caused the net effect. There was a possibility of population growth, the articulation also to the wider world may have impacted, and lastly, people may have adopted an elite behavior. All these have, therefore an impact in the sale of these vessels over time.
